I’m really excited to start my very first Girl’s Guide Chicago virtual book club!

The first book I’m reading is The Women in Cabin 10. Who knows? Maybe I will be the only one who reads this book, but I hope some of you will want to join and read it along with me! I really love to read and I want to find time every day to relax and read, even if it’s for a few minutes. It’s important to have some ME time. It’s one of the reasons I wanted to start this virtual book club. I also thought it would be really fun to connect with girls like you everywhere and give us all an excuse to read some really great books.

If you are just finding this post now. It’s ok! This is an ongoing virtual book club so if you would like to join keep reading.

This virtual book club is really easy to be a part of because…

  1. It’s online only, you can just check in when you want to join our online discussions about the book and then a Q&A discussion hosted by me right here, on Girl’s Guide Chicago after we have completed the book.
  2. If you miss a book that’s ok! You can read the book later or just wait for the next one.
  3. I think it’s fun to build a community of ladies that have common interests and maybe even lead you to meet some new people and to create some new, fun, relationships. If you are a Chicago girl like me, I could even host some meetups!

How to join

If you are interested in joining the GGC book club please click HERE to join on Goodreads. We can have all our general book discussions through Goodreads and I will also post a deadline to finish the book. After, I will host a discussion or review on my blog.

I’m going to start reading The Women in Cabin 10 now and I’m thinking our deadline should be on September 7th, 2017. I can’t wait to have a group discussion and hear what everyone thought of the book. I”m so excited to read it!

If you have any questions or comments please leave them below!

xo, Kelly
