Location: Olive Park, Chicago (next to Navy Pier)
This weekend was so beautiful in Chicago! And, as you can see from the title, this is not my typical girl’s guide post. However, for those of you that follow GGC you know that I love to explore the city and this weekend, I found a “new” spot that I really wanted to share. It just might be one of my new favorite views of the city. If you haven’t been over to Olive Park, it’s a beautiful park right next to Navy Pier and Oak Street Beach. It’s so nice to walk around, take a few photos, bring your dog, or even enjoy a picnic. So, I guess it’s kind of a mini guide 🙂 If you haven’t been it’s definitely a place to go.
I’m not a photographer, but I love to take photos around the city (I love to use them on my blog). On Saturday, I really enjoyed taking photos over at Olive Park because the skyline, the water, and the sky were the perfect color and I felt like I was in my own hidden gem in the city.
Photos from Olive Park
I’m obsessed with this photo. It reminds me of something out of a book, it’s a perfect moment in time.
I’m not trying to be a fashion blogger but I think it’s so fun to take photos like these. If you follow me on Instagram then you probably already knew that, haha.
We did also stop by Navy Pier so my Hubby could take some photos for a new project he is starting. I hadn’t been to Navy Pier in awhile, and it was really nice! We were hungry after walking around so we decided to have a quick and easy Cheezeborger lunch at Billy Goat. So, it ended up being a cheap and a beautiful day!
Have you been to Olive Park? If you haven’t, make sure to add it to your list of places to explore in Chicago.
